Anti-Social Commentary

Anti-Social Commentary
Anti-Social Commentary began their journey in May 2004. Starting out as a three piece; the founding members were singer / songwriter Trevor Petrie, bassist Benjamin West and drummer Brian Hosking. Using Jam night at the Golden Vine Hotel in Bendigo as a test ground, Anti-Social Commentary wrote and performed a number of tracks and recorded two songs that year "Pray for Friday" a fairly straight ahead pop-rock song and " Kept away a lie" a more diverse alternative rock number, for The 2004 BRIT CD "Unity Point". Both songs were received well by CD launch attendees and loyal Anti-Socialites alike.
February 2005 saw guitarist Andrew Barnes join the fray, bringing a great depth of new atmosphere to the sound. In January 2006 Anti-Social Commentary recorded a new four track demo in their home studio @ ASC HQ, which helped them to further develop their sound and their recording/mastering skills.
Parting with basist Benjamin West in late 2006; Anti-Social Commentary are back with new member Steve Myers and are currently recording their debut, as yet untitled, album.
